CLEANING THE SHIELD:

A reaction between the visor and the chemical constituents of the cleaning agent could lead to fogging and visual distortions. Clean your visor only with lukewarm water and a soft sponge, and clean it immediately if dirt and other deposits are noticeable. Do not allow deposits to accumulate over a long period of time. However, if deposits have been on the visor for a long time, they should be washed with repeated rinses. The dirt can soak and is further removed with each rinse. Avoid hard rubbing. The dried up dirt can act like an abrasive and leave scratches. The same can happen when using paper that is too hard.
